Oxford Daily Crime Report for Thursday, Oct. 16
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: six disturbances, three noise complaints, two suspicious activities, two improper parking, a credit card fraud, an alarm, a grand larceny, harassing phone calls, a petit larceny, a misdialed 911 call, a welfare concern, a malicious mischief, and an auto burglary at 3000 N. Lamar.
Oxford police investigated 11 wrecks, issued 53 traffic citations, and made seven arrests on the following charges: (2) careless driving with DUI, possession of paraphernalia, public intoxication, shoplifting with public intoxication, simple assault and a warrant served.
Oxford police discovered no code enforcement violations.
University police responded to the following incidents: a service call for an ambulance at Martin Hall, a petit larceny at the Grove, a harassment off-campus, an accidental hit and run at Lamar Hall, a motor vehicle accident with property damage at Chucky Mullins Drive, and a motor vehicle accident with property damage at Poole Drive.
Oxford fire dept. responded to the following calls: an emergency medical services call for a wreck at W. Jackson Ave. and Rebel Drive and a fire alarm activation at 201 Home Depot Drive.
