A Look Back at Dexter McCluster's Record-Setting Day Against UT
This weekend’s game against Tennessee will only be the second chance for the Ole Miss Rebels to start off at a 7-0 record in program history.
To do this, the No. 3 Rebels will have to defeat the Vols in Oxford, which has only been done once in four games played at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. It was back on Nov. 14, 2009, where Dexter McCluster set a new school record with 282 rushing yards and 324 all-purpose yards in the 42-17 win over the Volunteers.
McCluster will be back in Oxford at Rebel Rags on Nov. 1 before the kickoff of the Auburn signing autographs for fans.

I was in the stands at Crump stadium in Memphis in 1947, Vaught’s first year as coach and the first time EVER,Ole Miss beat Tenn. 49-0 ! Charlie (Roach) Conerly to Barney Poole worked it’s magic that day. Ole Miss went on to win The SEC!
