Oxford Daily Crime Report for Monday, Oct. 13
The Oxford police responded to the following incidents: five disturbances, four alarms, three suspicious activities, two fire dept. assists, two lost properties, a welfare concern, a 911 hang up call, a harassing phone call, a motorist assist, an ambulance assist, and a homicide at 200 St. Andrews Circle.
The Oxford police investigated six wrecks, issued four traffic citations, and made four arrests on the following charges: (2) minors in possession of alcohol, (2) possessions of false identifications.
The Oxford police discovered no code enforcement violations.
The University police responded to the following incidents: a fight at Coy Waller Lab Complex, a service call for a suspicious person at Paul B. Johnson Commons, a service call for a suspicious person at Barnard Observatory, an accidental hit and run at Tad Smith Coliseum, a service call for a suspicious person at Ford Center, a motor vehicle accident at Women’s Terrance Lot, and some harassing phone calls off-campus.
The Oxford Fire Dept. responded to the following calls: a general fire alarm malfunction at University Trails Building 6, a call to a wreck with the car smoking but was discovered it was only steam at University Ave., and a general fire alarm malfunction at Lamar Lounge.
