Little Rebel Tries on Future Uniform for First Time
Eleven-year-old John “JT” Thomas tries on an Ole Miss helmet in the Rebel locker room last spring, perhaps having visions of playing for Ole Miss.
The Son of John and Mary Thomas of Glenview, Illinois, is quarterback on offense and linebacker on defense on the team coached by his dad.
Fittingly, he wears No. 10 for Eli, and the team is 6-0, scoring 177 points and giving up only 6 points on defense. HottyToddy.com suggests that Coach Freeze keep an eye on JT for future recruiting endeavors.
The Thomas family recently established a Chair in Integrated Marketing Communications in the Meek School of Journalism and New Media. Mr. Thomas is an alumnus and retired Abbott Laboratories executive.
