Barktoberfest, the annual fundraiser for the Oxford Lafayette Humane Society sponsored by Coors, Domino’s, Kelli’s Cakes was scheduled for Monday, October 13 from 5pm-9pm at the Powerhouse Community Arts Council.
The event is being rescheduled for Tuesday, October 14th from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. due to the projected severe weather for this evening.
The organizer concerned both for the safety of animals and guests attending the event that postponing one day will result in a more enjoyable and successful fundraiser. The annual event features a pet costume contest, beer tasting and fresh pizza and treats from Domino’s and Kelli’s Cakes.
Admission to the event is $30 which includes tasting of Southern Craft Beers from Yalobusha, Southern Prohibition, Lazy Magnolia, Ghost River and select other products. Proceeds support the Oxford Lafayette Humane Society.
