Latoya Waters – Credit Card Fraud
On Wednesday, October 1, 2014, investigators of the Oxford police dept. arrested Latoya Waters, 27 years of age from Oxford, MS, with credit card fraud.
On September 8, 2014 several reports of suspicious credit card transaction was reported to the Oxford Police Department. Through investigations Latoya Waters was identified as the suspect. Waters was arrested and booked on credit card fraud. Waters’ bond was set at $20,000.
Oxford Police responded to the following incidents: three alarms, three suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, two assaults, two 911 hang up calls, two counterfeit bills, two disturbances, a domestic violence, a public intoxication, a 911 wrong number dialed, a lost property, and noise disturbances.
Oxford Police investigated 14 wrecks, issued 24 traffic citations, and made nine arrests on the following charges: (3) disturbing the peace, (2) public intoxications, a DUI to first degree, a minor in possession of alcohol, a disturbing the peace with possession of fake ID, and a trespassing.
Oxford Police discovered no code enforcement violations.
University Police responded to the following incidents: an accidental hit and run at Pi Beta Phi house, a motor vehicle accident in the Sorority Lot, a motor vehicle accident at Barnard Hall, a vehicle stop at University Place, and a traffic detail at Chucky Mullins Drive.
Oxford Fire Department received no calls.
