Freeze, Rebels Snag Mississippi Boy from 'Bama
The rising Rebels grabbed another recruit from football dynasty Alabama, giving Ole Miss a beautiful look for the 2015 season.
Leo Lewis, a four-star recruit out of Brookhaven High School, jumped ship to stay in his home state and play for No. 10 Ole Miss next season. Prospect Benito Jones, a former Alabama verbal commit for 2016, also flipped to Ole Miss after visiting Oxford in August.
At 6’3” and 225 pounds, Lewis is ranked as the 73rd overall prospect, the third overall player from Mississippi and the top inside linebacker of the class. Lewis also had more than a dozen other offers from other top programs, including Mississippi State, Alabama, Florida State and Arkansas, among others.
