Ole Miss moved up one spot to No. 14 Sunday thanks to an impressive performance by senior quarterback Bo Wallace and the Rebel defense. The Rebels also benefited from losses by two teams ranked ahead of them last week in Ohio State and Stanford.
Ole Miss is one of eight SEC teams ranked in the poll, but it sits behind five top-10 teams from the conference in Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Texas A&M and LSU — but not too far behind.
