Coca-Cola Getting Personal With Ole Miss Students

Published

on

If you haven’t heard of the name or the national marketing strategy surrounding Coca-Cola, then you must be residing under a rock.
Coca-Cola has launched a new marketing campaign, primarily to get the focus of consumers with a more personalized touch by using consumer’s names to market their products. The products of the brand and the marketing strategy reach to nearly all Coke products, including Coke Zero and Diet Coke.
Coca-Cola decided to sponsor an event today on our own Ole Miss campus and decided to do so in style. They were right next to the Union from around 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. passing out free cans of soda with students’ names on them, complete with a free photo on a red carpet set up to for a “celebrity-like” picture.
HottyToddy.com staff reporter Sam Mitchell was able to capture some of the moments of the shindig on camera, along with some very content and happy students who enjoyed their own names on their Coca-Cola cans.

Now that you have an “in” with coke. Can ya tell me where I can find specific names without having to dig through the coke fridges in stores?

Would love to find a Coke with my name. RAE would look almost as good as an ice cold Coke in my hand. Can’t beat a Coke!
