Though the game against Boise State was halfway across the country in Atlanta, the party scene still engulfed the Ole Miss campus and Oxford, with watch parties in multiple bars and even in the Grove.

The viewing in the Grove was hosted by the Student Activities Association, who gave away free popcorn, drinks and Ole Miss paraphernalia after touchdowns. It was a more relaxed atmosphere than the Grove during a home game, with less high heels and more running shorts, but the fandom still rang through the ancient oaks as the Rebs rallied to victory in the first game of the season.

Even though the game was in Atlanta, thousands of Rebel fans clad in red and blue came out to support Ole Miss.
