Oxford Daily Crime Report for Wednesday, Aug. 27
The Oxford Police Department responded to three disturbances, two alarms, two improper parking, two littering, an ambulance assistance, a public drunk, a petit larceny, a welfare concern, a suspicious person and a suspicious activity.
The Oxford Police Department investigated five wrecks, issued 52 tickets, and made nine arrests on the following charges: (2) shoplifting, (2) careless driving with a DUI to first degree, a DUI to first degree, a possession of drug paraphernalia, a careless driving with no drivers license and no car insurance, a contempt of court warrant served, and a public drunk.
The University Police responded a vandalism at Deaton Hall, a car accident at Tad Pad, a car accident at Ford Center, a car accident at Campus Walk and a larceny at the University Police Department.
The University Police also assisted with traffic at the Student Union Drive and made a call for an ambulance at Kinard Hall.
The Oxford Fire Department responded to clean up a puddle of blood at the Oxford-University Methodist Church, two fire alarms malfunctions on the university campus and one fire alarm malfunction in Oxford.
