A black bear has been seen strolling around the campus of Mississippi State University-Meridian, according to a report by WTOK news station in Meridian (for real).
The young bear is not believed to be Rebel the Black Bear, the Ole Miss mascot, but it is possible he is a cousin marking his territory in a bold effort to troll State fans. The news may come as a shock to those insistent that black bears do not exist in Mississippi.
