Oxford photographer Jim Hendrix uses an incredibly unique and beautiful method to capture scenes around Oxford and on the Ole Miss campus.
About Hendrix:
Jim and Glenda Hendrix moved to Oxford, Mississippi in 1973. He worked in data processing at Ole Miss where he earned a masters degree in physics in 1975. Jim finished his career at the National Center for Physical Acoustics.
In 2012 Jim’s childhood artistic interest resurfaced when he began taking a DSLR camera on his walks around town. Most of the next year was spent learning techniques that he uses to bring out the beauty in scenes around Oxford, Ole Miss and Mississippi. When friends began telling him how much they enjoy his images, he decided to go public.
You can view more of Jim’s images on his website at www.oxphoto.org. Prints may be purchased online or you may reach Jim directly using contact information on his website. Also, The Frame Up, on the Square, carries many of Jim’s prints.
