The Oxford Daily Crime Report for Thursday, June 5
The Oxford Police Department responded to four disturbances, two alarms, two suspicious persons, two improper parking situations, malicious mischief, recovered property, a civil matter, assisted a motorist, an auto burglary on Anderson Road, and a residential burglary on Anchorage Road.
OPD also investigated six wrecks, issued 24 citations, and made four arrests on the following charges: three careless drivings and DUI 1sts and a Contempt of Court warrant.
The Oxford Fire Department answered one canceled call at the Graceland Care Center of Oxford.
The University Police Department issued only one moving violation for running a stop sign on Coliseum Drive. It was a quiet day on campus.
