Woman Arrested on Credit Card Fraud
The Oxford Police Department arrested Kyra Bramlett 28, of Oxford. Bramlett was arrested Tuesday after finding that she used someone’s credit card without consent.
Bramlett’s bond was set at $20,000. The Oxford Police Department responded to three wrecks, issued six traffic citations and three arrests, on the following charges: disturbing the peace, public intoxication and credit card fraud (Kyra Bramlett).
Oxford Police also responded to reports of three disturbances, two ambulance assists, two fire department assists, motor vehicle assist, five alarms, an animal complaint, embezzlement, a civil matter, welfare concern and grand larceny.
The University Police Department responded to the following incidents Monday, May 19: Grand larceny at E.F. Yerby Center, improper equipment on Fraternity Row, suspicious vehicle on Intramural Field Road and improper equipment on Coliseum Drive.
The Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls Monday, May 19: -Resident pulled the pull station at veterans home, at 120 Veterans Blvd., at 7:47 a.m. and 8:25 a.m. – Small grass fire, at 1021 Molly Barr Road, at 1:41 p.m.
