The University Museum has announced its 2014 schedule of kids summer camps.
Museum officials say the camps will offer children the chance to travel back in time, journey to far-away lands and create art inspired by their local surroundings. The camps are inspired by the museum’s collections.
The cost is $50 per week to Museum members at the family level and above. Non-Museum members will be charged $80 per week, per participant,

For Children Entering Grades 1-5
Art and the Great Outdoors, June 9-13, 9 a.m.-noon
Ancient Civilizations Camp, June 16-20, 9 a.m. noon
Innovation Station, June 23-27, 9 a.m. noon
Modern Marvels, July 7-11, 9 a.m.-noon
Myths, Monsters and Far-Away Lands, July 14-18, 9 a.m.-noon
Off the Page, 3D art, July 28-Aug. 1, 9 a.m.-noon
For Children Entering Preschool and Kindergarten
Meet Me at the Museum Mini Masters Summer Camp, July 21-25, 9-11 a.m. (For ages 3-5 and a grown up.)
For Children Entering Grades 6-8
All about Art: Middle School Edition, July 21-25, 1-4 p.m.
