Location, Location, Location: Campus Creek is Hop, Skip, Bike Ride From Campus

Halfway between Coop DeVille and campus isn’t a bad place to be for a student. In one direction, bacon-cheddar wings; in the other, a fine education. In between is a bustling community of students with just about everything else they could possibly need.

IMG_7625Located at 101 Creekmore Boulevard (off the elbow of Hathorn Road and just behind what locals and alums affectionately refer to as the “Ewok Village” apartments), Campus Creek occupies a sweet spot in terms of proximity to campus. In fact, it’s darn near ON campus. That’s just one unique advantage the apartment community has in the ever-burgeoning student housing market in Oxford, says Quovondo Brown, leasing and marketing manager at Campus Creek.

“There a few things that set Campus Creek apart from everyone else,” Brown says. “First, Campus Creek was built in 2004. Because we were built a lot earlier than a lot of our competitors, our living areas are really large … Also, our bedrooms are a lot larger, as well. Second, we’re the most affordable all-inclusive [apartments] in town right now … Electricity, water, WiFi, cable—everything is take care of in one rate. Right now, our four-bedrooms are [on special at] $499 a month [per person], and our three-bedrooms are $519 [per person]. Lastly, there is no other apartment community closer to campus than we are. We’re 0.3 miles from the university, so our students can walk and bike to class, and of course the OUT bus stops here, as well.”

IMG_7643Among Campus Creek’s amenities are a car wash area, computer lab and printing services, a controlled access gate, courtesy officers, extended basic cable with HBO, a fitness center, free parking for residents and guests, a game room, a gift-wrapping station, 24/7 maintenance, picnic areas with community grills, a private laundry, resident events, a sand volleyball court, a pool, study rooms, tanning domes, a tennis court, and WiFi in the clubhouse.
There’s even a Campus Creek Thanksgiving dinner for students who can’t make it home for the holiday, as well as a secret admirer exchange on Valentine’s Day, Brown says.
