Belles & Beaus Has All the Summer Outfits for Youngsters

Belles & Beaus is stocked with children’s swimsuits, beach towels, and dresses heading into Double Decker Festival weekend.
The store was buzzing with customer traffic last week during Good Friday too, as moms and grandmothers got ready for summer.
The store is located at 1005 Van Buren Ave. and is open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Mustard Pie is a popular brand for young girls in Oxford and is selling well at Belles & Beaus.
Brooke Holloway, who works part-time at the store, said the store stocks boys and girls clothing in sizes preemie to 16, and also has accessories and gifts. Holloway is a junior major in psychology at the University of Mississippi.
Tummies Maternity is just next door and is accessible through Belles & Beaus. Both stores are owned by mother and daughter team Cathy Lowe and Betty Jane Cadle. The store offers fashionable maternity clothing, including the Piko brand.
“The great thing about Piko brand shirts is that you can wear them throughout and then after pregnancy,” Holloway said.
The store is also known for creating customized bibs, onesies, bubbles and T-shirts, with appliques and monograms. Short-sleeve items are just $15 and long-sleeve items are $18, which includes the shirt and all customization. Most customizable items are white, but blue and pink gowns are also available.
