Egg Hunt at FNC Park Brings Out Smiles, a Few Tears

Thousands of Easter eggs sparkled on the deep green grass of the FNC Park complex.
The announcer counted off and hundreds of Oxford children were off and running collecting as many eggs as they could scoop up and stash in their baskets. The little ones sometimes needed a little help from their proud parent, and a few meltdowns occurred, but it all worked out and only a few frowns could be found.
The Oxford Police Department and Fire Department were on hand with horses, patrol cars and firetrucks.
Even the Easter Bunny made an appearance.
