NWCC Scholarship Deadline is April 1

The deadline to apply for a Northwest Mississippi Community College Foundation scholarship is April 1, according to Sybil Canon, associate vice president of development and special projects.
Students receiving other forms of Financial Aid or other scholarships are still eligible to apply for Foundation Scholarships and are encouraged to do so.
Any full-time student may apply for these scholarships, which are awarded according to the criteria designated by those who established them.
Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours and maintain a specified grade point average, which range from 2.0-3.25, according to the criteria of the individual scholarships.
Applicants must submit a Foundation Scholarship Application, which are available from the Foundation office, the Recruiting office or online at www.northwestms.edu/foundationscholarship. In addition to the application, students will need to submit a letter of recommendation and a current resume. Instructions are outlined on the application forms.
Endowed and Annual Foundation scholarships are available through the generosity of individuals, corporations and civic organizations who have established them.
