According to teacher and MATHCOUNTS coach, Karen Copple, “OMS has been fortunate to have placed first in the regional competition for many years. It is a national enrichment, club, and competition program which promotes middle school mathematics achievement through grassroots involvement in every U. S. state and territory.”
The team moves on to compete in the state competition on March 22, 2014 at Madison Middle School. Three OMS students also placed in the individual competition.
