The Robertson family, known best for duck calls and their highly popular television show on A&E Duck Dynasty, will officially sponsor the Independence Bowl in Shreveport, La. in 2014.
The contract between ADVOCARE V100 and the Independence Bowl ended recently and the search committee did not look far from home when they chose to partner with Duck Commander, the Robertson family business located just 98 miles away in West Monroe, La.
The bowl will be known as the “Duck Commander Independence Bowl” and the contract will extend for six years, according to a tweet sent out by ESPN’s Brett McMurphy on Sunday.
