Sullivan Award Nominations Due February 21
Do you know an Ole Miss student, alum, or Oxford-Lafayette-Univeristy community member who gives back to the community selflessly? Nominate them for the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award given by the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Foundation through the McLean Institute for Public Service and Community Engagement at the University of Mississippi.
According to the McLean website, the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award was created in 1890 to honor those exhibit “nobility of character” through their selfless service to others and the community. “Award criteria emphasize placing service to others and the community before oneself, while embodying the qualities of honesty, morality, ethics, integrity, responsibility, determination, courage, and compassion. Individuals who do not actively seek recognition are prime candidates for this award.”
To nominate someone you know for this prestigious award, fill out the form on the McLean Institute website before Friday, Feb. 21st by clicking here.
