Chamber of Commerce 'Lunch & Learn' Series is back Feb. 19
On Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014 the Oxford Lafayette County Chamber of Commerce will offer a Lunch-and-Learn session with Walter Dyminski, SBA Manager for BancorpSouth.
The session will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in the Chamber of Commerce board room (located at 299 W. Jackson Ave.). Mr. Dyminski will discuss the many financing options available through the Small Business Administration, which include financing for start-up businesses, expansion capital for growing companies and financing for business acquisitions and/or change of ownership transactions. Among the types of businesses recently having benefited from SBA lending offered through BancorpSouth include, but are not limited to, restaurants, manufactures, transportation companies, retailers and janitorial services.
Walter will also provide examples of recent deals which have been closed through the use of SBA financing and the process and required paperwork for the business owner. He will address some of the misconceptions of SBA lending and offer a time to answer specific questions to those in attendance.
