Locals Restaurant & Bar opened in the former Boure and Golden Rule Bar-B-Q & Grille location on January 28.
“It was established as a means of supporting local farmers, suppliers, and vendors and will continue to seek possibilities for extending the establishment in to the community,” says Lucas Singh, who Oxonians know from his management of Lamar Lounge and Proud Larrys’ and who is consulting with owner Bob Tekwani and Tekwani, LLC, on the Locals concept. Tekwani is an Ole Miss alumnus.
The offerings will include daily specials, plate lunches, steaks, pasta, sandwiches and burgers, BBQ, soups, and salads, as well as a full bar.
