Chris Knight and More Music at Proud Larrys' This Week
Proud Larrys’ is in full swing this week, starting Wednesday, January 22 at 9 p.m. with England in 1819 and Oxford group Pale East. England in 1819 began in Baton Rouge as a nine-piece experimental group around the duo of Andrew and Dan. Now the two use electronic drums and synths to craft their “grandwave” sound.
Showtime is 9 p.m.

Chris Knight went from the tiny mining town of Slaughters, Kentucky, to become a highly regarded singer/songwriter and a fixture on the Americana scene. He performs at Proud Larrys’ on Thursday, January 23.
Tickets are $16 in advance, $19 the day of the show. Showtime is 8 p.m.
Friday, January 24 brings Turquoise Jeep and Yip Deceiver to Proud Larrys’. Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 the day of the show.
Round out the weekend with Bama Gamblers on Saturday, January 25 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $5.
