Northwest Community College Has Open Registration, Orientation

Registration for the spring semester at Northwest Mississippi Community College is just around the corner.

Open registration and orientation for day classes will be held on Friday, Jan. 10 on all Northwest campuses. Open registration for evening classes will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 8 and Thursday, Jan. 9.

Open registration for day classes will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the Senatobia campus and 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the DeSoto and Oxford campuses. Open registration for evening classes will be held from 4:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. on all three campuses.

On the Senatobia campus, registration will be held in the Haraway Center. Pre-registered students who are eligible can complete their registration online on Jan. 7. Those who cannot complete online will complete their registration process on campus on Wednesday, Jan. 8 or Thursday, Jan. 9.

Students may register for eLearning online classes at any time during the college’s registration period.

Classes begin on Jan. 13.  Late registration will begin Jan. 13 and end Jan. 17.

Terry Bland, director of Financial Aid announced that Financial Aid workers will be in the Haraway Center, Room 104, and on the other campuses to assist students with financial aid questions during registration. On the Senatobia campus, Financial Aid workers will be in the Haraway Center during registration hours, Wednesday, Jan. 8 – Friday, Jan. 10, but will return to their office in Yalobusha Hall, Suite 103 onJan. 13.

Please note that the Housing Office has moved to the first floor of the new Tate Hall, and will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day during registration.
