25. Conference Center Closure Considered
Just this month, the City of Oxford announced that it is considering closing the Oxford Conference Center, located at Sisk Ave. and Highway 7. Nothing has been finalized and the public has been able to voice their opinions, but proposals for the property are floating around. Stay tuned as this story develops.
24. Texas Visionary Brings Development, Love to Oxford
Blake Tartt is a Houston-based entrepreneur who loves Oxford and Ole Miss. “Oxford is much more than a town – it’s a way of life,” he said. At a party at the Powerhouse on October 12, Tartt announced that a high-end fitness and cycling company, PureRyde, would soon begin operations in a studio on The Square.

21. Princeton Review Names Ole Miss Campus Most Beautiful
It is no surprised that the Princeton Review named the Ole Miss campus Most Beautiful in 2013. Way back in 2011, Newsweek awarded Ole Miss the same honor. It must be true!
