As our first calendar year on the web draws to a close, we wanted to take to thank our readers and look back at our 50 greatest stories of 2013.
Over the course of the year, we have posted more than 2,800 stories, attracted 500,000 unique visitors each month, and racked up 2.2 million page views. We have readers from all over the world, including the UK, Germany, Australia, and Japan and our content is translated into hundreds of languages.
We’d call that a success! Thank you to all of our readers and supporters! We (literally) couldn’t do it without you.
From now until the end of the year, we will be counting down our Best Stories of 2013. Each day, we will post five of our top 50 stories from the year. Below are numbers 50 through 46.
