Afroman is at Proud Larrys’ Tonight, Because, Well, You Know Why…

Published

Mississippi’s own Afroman will, um, light up the stage tonight at Proud Larrys’.

Born Joseph Edgar Foreman, the artist known as Afroman is best known for the hit single “Because I Got High” and also holds in-state fascination with his classic “Mississippi”, in which he gives shout-outs to many burgs around the state while describing the shady acts he conducts therein. Afroman was nominated for a Grammy award in 2002.

The show starts around 9 p.m. Admission is a mere $10.
