If you’re in Oxford for the LSU game this weekend, be sure to cheer for Jake and Will Lockhart. Tragically, their father Carl (Buddy) Lockhart was killed in a car crash Oct. 8 in Oxford.

Carl Lockhart’s family, wife Isabel and sons Jake and Will, are coping as best they can, but community support and prayers from their neighbors in Oxford has been a major source of comfort.

Now Ole Miss Coach Hugh Freeze, a neighbor of the Lockhart family, hopes to bring the Rebel fan base behind the family in a massive show of support. Coach Freeze has invited the boys to walk out with the Ole Miss players on the Walk of Champions, watch from the field during pre-game, and run out on the field through the tunnel at game time. Coach Freeze believes it would be awesome if these boys and their beautiful mom Isabel got to hear their names chanted and cheered during the Rebel festivities! Hotty Toddy!
