Sunday Bloody Sunday: Home Game Recouping
Potable salve for Rebel fan wounds.
Six home games in a row means six consecutive Sundays of legal on-premise (that means at a restaurant or bar) sales of alcoholic beverages in Oxford. As part of the post-mortem debriefing from the heartbreaking Rebel loss to Texas A&M the night before, this welcoming Bloody Mary was optioned at the Country Club of Oxford. Two slices of crisp bacon were among the many garnishes.
Honorable mention: This handsome, commemorative Bobby Hebert edition Coors Light pint glass actually contains Green Flash West Coast IPA, also served at the Country Club of Oxford.
