Celebration for Schools’ Success in Making All A’s

Oxford, Mississippi – The Oxford School District will host an All-Star Celebration on Friday, September 27 from 5:30 until 7 p.m. on the Oxford High School football practice field.

Oxford school officials are hosting the All-Star Celebration to congratulate school students, while also thanking teachers, faculty and staff for their hard work in achieving academic success as an A-rated school district.

The Oxford School District was one of only two school districts statewide where every school received all A’s, thanks to the diligence and determination of students and teachers. The Oxford School District was recently named an all A-rated school district for the first time in school district history.

Students, parents and families are encouraged create and design All-Star banners during the celebration that will be on display during the home football game. The All-Star celebration is free and will offer family- friendly celebration activities such as inflatables, an All-Star Celebration cake, pre-game fireworks and more.

Oxford residents are welcome to attend and celebrate Oxford School District’s success. School officials credit community support as a source of student achievement.

Those attending the All-Star Celebration are encouraged to wear blue to support the Oxford Chargers BLUE OUT and cheer on the undefeated Oxford Chargers High School football team against West Point. Football action begins at 7 p.m.
