Oxford to Learn About Golden Rule of BBQ
Popular Alabama chain to open in former Bouré building.
Within the last several months, CM Foodservices, LLC opened Mexican restaurant La Paz and Ezell’s Fish Camp in Oxford. The group is now on the cusp of opening an Oxford location of a third chain, Golden Rule Bar-B-Q & Grill.
With roots dating back to 1891, Golden Rule is popular in locations in Alabama. The concept has evolved over the decades, and in 2002 retooled as the Original Golden Rule Bar-B-Q & Grill. The Oxford location will be in the space formerly occupied by Bouré on North Lamar.
The opening date has not been announced.
