Add Style to Your Game Day with Flask Tie
The first home football game against Southeastern Missouri is only a day away. With it will come tailgating in The Grove and Rebel fans carrying some extra spirit around with them.
Some fans like to take the party from The Grove with them into Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. Alcohol is strictly prohibited inside of the stadium, and anyone caught with it can be subject to ejection. That doesn’t stop students and other fans from coming up with creative ways to sneak flasks and bottles into the game to add an extra kick to their stadium drinks.
The latest creative inspiration combines the high fashion tradition of Grove attire and the gentlemanly tradition of enjoying fine spirits in a social setting. Flask Tie holds eight fluid ounces of any liquid that a fan or student would want to take with them. The plastic flask is inside the tie, and all one needs to do is unbutton the back, unscrew the tie from the straw and put their beverage of choice inside the flask. Once that’s done, screw the flask back up to the straw, put the tie on and go on your way.
Inside of the front of the tie there is a hidden straw that allows you to subtly drink from your flask without having to take it out of the tie. The Flask Tie is available at Oxford Floral for approximately $28. There’s still time to go make your purchase and add extra spirit to your game day experience.
