Ole Miss Golf Announces ’13-14 Slate
Ole Miss golf head coach Ernest Ross announced Rebels’ schedule for the 2013-14 season Friday, highlighted by trips to Hawaii and Mexico.
The schedule, which features eleven tournaments, tees off on Sept. 9 with the two-day Sam Hall Intercollegiate in Hattiesburg, Miss.
Other September tournaments include the NCAA Regional Preview in Columbia, Mo., (Sept. 16-17) and the Graeme McDowell Invitational in Birmingham, Ala., (Sept. 30-Oct. 1).
The Rebels finish up fall play in Atlanta, Ga., with the Autotrader.com Collegiate Classic (Oct. 14-15) followed by the Warrior Princeville Intercollegiate in Makai, Hawaii (Nov. 4-6).
The spring season begins on Feb. 17 when the Rebels travel to Mobile, Ala., for the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate before heading to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for Querencia Cabo Collegiate (March 2-4).
Ole Miss closes out the regular season with three tournaments from last season, including the Chris Schenkel Invitational (March 14-16) in Statesboro, Ga., the Old Waverly Invitational (April 7-8) in West Point, Miss., and Rebel-hosted BancorpSouth Invitational (April 14-15) in Madison, Miss.
The SEC Championships will return to Sea Island, Ga., April 25-27, while NCAA Regionals are set for May 15-17 at various host sites. The NCAA Championship will take place at the Prairie Dunes Course in Wichita, Kan., May 27-June 1.
