Whatever may be wrong with the world, at least it has some good things to eat. —”Cowboy” Jack Clement

Country musician “Cowboy” Jack Clement, an influential, colorful, and much-loved figure in the Nashville music scene, passed away on Thursday, August 8, at the age of 82. If you’re unfamiliar with his work, check out the gloriously goofy documentary Shakespeare Was a Big George Jones Fan: Cowboy Jack Clement’s Home Movies(You can rent it from Amazon here.) Look out for Johnny Cash clowning around while wearing a rubber pig snout.
