“Our coaches and players are excited to get to work,” Freeze said. “Paul Jackson and our strength staff did a phenomenal job this summer preparing us for the grind ahead, and we’re looking forward to focusing on football and growing as a team over the next month.”

Among the 105 reporting are 23 first-year Rebels, most of which attended summer school and have already been working out with the team.

Trey Bledsoe, Daronte Bouldin, Ryan Buchanan, Evan Engram, Austin Golson, Bobby Hill, Davion Johnson, Devante Kincade, Herbert Moore, Kailo Moore, Robert Nkemdiche, Ray Ray Smith, Laquon Treadwell, Laremy Tunsil and Jordan Wilkins enrolled in first summer term, while Quincy Adeboyejo, Tony Conner, Derrick Jones and David Kamara were on campus for the second session.

Fadol Brown, Luke Davis, Cale Luke and John Patrick Sherling are also new to the program.

After the freshmen checked into their dorms, the team began orientation meetings, which touch on academics, compliance and other areas. The day is capped by position meetings.

Ole Miss will hold Media Day activities Friday beginning with Freeze’s press conference at 2 p.m, which will be streamed live on OleMissSports.com’s RebelVision. OleMissSports.com will have complete coverage of the day’s events.

The Rebels will take the practice field Saturday and Sunday, and both days are closed to the public. Fans may attend the team’s workouts from Monday (August 5) through Saturday(August 10). Follow @OleMissFB on Twitter for daily updates on practice locations.

Once again this year, OleMissSports.com will be on hand for every minute of the Rebels’ preseason drills with daily practice reports and RebelVision’s video highlights.
