Collection of photos taken on July 15th, 2013 at the Rebel Challenge Course.
Tucked in the woods near the intramural fields is the Rebel Challenge Course. Led by the Ole Miss Outdoors Association, the course provides a fun and exciting way for groups to face their fears and accomplish their goals together.
A day at the course can give participants a better sense of communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills, as they work together to complete different “elements”.
Here, the entire team must traverse the platforms using two boards of wood. Separately, the boards add nothing, but when used together, they just barely bridge the gap.
Once the group completes the lower elements, the trained facilitators increase the necessity of team work, as the participants start to really face their fears.
By the end of the day, Challenge Course participants encourage each other to push themselves to new heights, literally.
Overall, the whole experience is worth it for a fun adventure hanging from the trees.
