Ole Miss, the reigning Southeastern Conference Tournament champion, announced its 2013-14 non-conference schedule on Tuesday, which features a possible six games against postseason teams from last year including four that advanced to the NCAA Tournament.

The non-conference slate is highlighted by a home game versus reigning Pac-12 Tournament champion Oregon on Dec. 8. The Ducks, who won 28 games last season and advanced to the NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen, will host the Rebels in a return game next season.

“Our non-conference schedule is set up to prepare us for the rigors of SEC play,” said Ole Miss head coach Andy Kennedy, the winningest coach in school history. “We feel this schedule will challenge us to forge our identity early on in our quest to repeat as SEC Champions.”

The Rebels also hit the road for games against NCAA Tournament participants Kansas State and Western Kentucky. Ole Miss travels to face the Wildcats in the Big 12/SEC Challenge on Dec. 5 in Manhattan, Kan. and heads to Bowling Green, Ky. to take on the Hilltoppers on Dec. 30. Middle Tennessee, who won 28 games last season and advanced to the NCAA First Four, will travel to Oxford on Dec. 14.

Ole Miss opens the non-conference slate with a home game versus Troy on Nov. 8 before traveling to Coastal Carolina on Nov. 16. The Rebels then host back-to-back games against Mississippi Valley State and North Carolina AT&T on Nov. 22 and Nov. 26 as part of the Barclays Center Classic.

The Rebels travel to Brooklyn, N.Y. on Nov. 29 for the Barclays Center Classic and a matchup against Georgia Tech on the Brooklyn Nets’ home floor. A possible matchup against NIT participant St. John’s or Big Ten foe Penn State awaits Ole Miss in the finals on Nov. 30.

Ole Miss will also host Louisiana-Monroe on Dec. 18 and Mercer, who knocked out Tennessee in the NIT last season, on Dec. 22. The Rebels round out the non-conference potion of their schedule by hosting the Dayton Flyers on Jan. 3 at the Tad Pad.

The complete SEC schedule and any television information will be released by the conference office in August.
