OPD Announces New Transportation Focus
The Oxford Police Department issued a public service announcement outlining its new focus on transportation cyclists, motorcyclists and other modes of alternative transportation.
Due to an increase in alternative transportation and the risks that can arise from road sharing, the Oxford Police Department will be focusing on enforcing the road rules that affect, not only cars and trucks, but also cyclists, motorcyclists and other modes of alternative transportation.
In a time when alternative transportation is becoming more and more popular, the Oxford Police Department simply wants to ensure its success by establishing the safety guidelines up front.
