The Ole Miss baseball team travels up I-55 tonight to take on the Memphis Tigers at Autozone Park in Memphis. The game is a rescheduled makeup for the rainout cancellation on April 2.

Ole Miss (26-10) comes into the matchup with the Tigers today after sweeping the Alabama Crimson Tide over the weekend. Senior Tanner Mathis delivered a clutch single in the bottom of the 11th in Sunday’s game to give the Rebels the 4-3 Sunday victory over the Tide.

Junior Stuart Turner continues to lead Ole Miss at the plate with a .402 batting average and  a total of 36 RBI’s on the year.

Memphis (22-14) welcomes the Rebels into Autozone Park tonight after taking two of three games from the University of Alabama at Birmingham over the weekend. The Tigers have faired well in their last ten games with a mark of 8-2.

The probable pitching matchup for tonight’s game showcases Memphis’s  own LHP Michael Wills versus the Rebels RHP Brady Bramlett. Bramlett is 4-0 on the season with a 1.96 ERA, while his counter part Wills is 2-2 on the season with a 2.48 ERA.  Wills picked up the win against Ole Miss by a score of 4-3 back on February 26.
