Peach Jam Spotlights Female Musicians and Poets
VOX PRESS event returns with tunes and verse
The VOX PRESS Artists Series presents “Peach Jam: An Evening of Female Musicians and Poets” on March 27, 2013 at the Powerhouse Community Arts Center in downtown Oxford. Doors open at 7 p.m. The event will feature the musical performances of Deux Filles de Sangin, Betsy and the BarnBurners, and Shannon McNally, and the poetry of Vera Pa and Dottie Knight. Dinner and drinks are available for a small voluntary donation. The event is free to the public, but donations are greatly appreciated, says Louis Bourgeois of VOX PRESS.
VOX PRESS, INC. is a non-profit literary press based in Oxford since 2004. All donations are tax deductible. The VOX PRESS ARTISTS SERIES is sponsored in part by the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council and the Mississippi Arts Commission.
