The Ole Miss basketball team begins  2013 SEC Tournament play tonight against the Missouri Tigers in Nashville.

Ole Miss (23-8,12-6 SEC) comes into the tournament after winning their last  4 of 5 games. On Saturday, the Rebels defeated LSU in Baton Rouge by a score of 81-67.

Junior Marshall Henderson leads the Rebels and the SEC in scoring, averaging 19.7 points per game. He also leads the conference and ranks second in the nation in three-pointers made, with an average of 3.9 a game.

Missouri (23-9,11-7 SEC) advanced to the quarter finals of the tournament by defeating the Texas A&M Aggies on Thursday by a score 62-50. Senior Alex Oriahki led the Tigers in scoring against the Aggies with 13 points.

Ole Miss and Missouri are meeting for the third time this season on the hard court with the teams splitting the series.

For The Rebels, this year marks the sixth time that the SEC tournament is being played in Nashville. Ole Miss holds a 2-5 record in Nashville, making it to the championship game once back in 2001 before falling to Kentucky.

This year marks the first appearance in the SEC tournament for the Tigers.  Coach Frank Haith squad won the Big 12 tournament last season and hope to do the same in the SEC.
