No. 5 Recruiting Class Puts Rebels in Good Company Nationally

With its No. 5-ranked 2013 NSD performance, the Ole Miss Rebels are in great sporting company nationally.
The signing of No. 1 overall prospect Robert Nkemdiche put the Rebels on the college football map, alongside football powerhouses Alabama, Florida, Notre Dame and Ohio State.
Going into National Signing Day, the Rebels were ranked No. 12 by ESPN.com.
The 2013 recruiting class includes three of the No. 1 prospects in the nation in Nkemdiche, offensive lineman Austin Golson and Laremy Tunsil, an offensive tackle from Lake City Florida.
Nkemdiche was sought by Clemson, where he first committed, Florida, LSU, and Alabama.
In an interview with ESPNU after his announcement, Nkemdiche said, “I felt like it was the right place for me. I feel like they can do special things and they (Ole Miss) are on the rise. I feel like going to play with my brother (Denzel), we can do special things.”
