Ole Miss Men’s Tennis Picked to Win SEC
Coach Chadwick’s team ready for action

The Southeastern Conference announced Thursday that the Ole Miss men’s tennis team was picked as the overall league champion in the preseason coaches poll.
The Rebels will start their regular spring season against Memphis on Feb. 26 in Oxford. Ole Miss begins the spring ranked No. 13 and will be led by sophomore Nik Scholt, who was the 2012 SEC Freshman of the Year, and senior Jonas Lutjen, who was an All-American last season.
“We’re very excited about this year’s team,” head coach Bill Chadwick said in a release. “The SEC is the toughest conference in the nation, and it’s an honor to be considered one of the top teams.”
Ole Miss was picked first in the Western Division with 74 points, edging out Mississippi State who had 63 points.
