VOX Press invites the public to Off Square Books at 5:30 p.m. for the launch of A Short Ride: Remembering Barry Hannah.
Special guests will include authors Maude Schuyler Clay, Jim Dees, Ron Shapiro, David Shirley, Louis Bourgeois, Neil White, Glennray Tutor, Robin Rushing, Tyler Keith, Ann Fisher-Wirth, Jimmy Tighe, and others.
With a forword by Neil White, A Short Ride: Remembering Barry Hannah consists of 30-plus essays celebrating the spectacular life of Barry Hannah. Contributors include Brad Watson, Dan Williams, Ron Shapiro, Jim Dees, M.O. Walsh, and Glennray Tutor. Plus, it features never-before-seen interviews with America’s short story master. VOX Press, Inc. was founded as a literary journal by poet Louis E. Bourgeois and Oxford American editor Jimmy Pitts in 2004.
