An Asian-inspired take on the crunchy-but-gooey concept
Barbecue nachos come in as many different ingredient combinations as do regular nachos, if there is any such thing as regular nachos. And though we won’t besmirch the barbecue nachos at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, we’ll point out that 208 South Lamar has, not surprisingly, a fine dining version, incorporating some Asian twists into this Southern delicacy.
They top crispy wonton chips with house confit pork, a truffle three cheese mornay, and finish it with with a fried shallot garnish and Sriracha sauce.
