On Thursday night, hundred’s of fans lined up on the Square for a chance to meet one of the all-time winningest managers in baseball.  Retired St. Louis Cardinals manger Tony La Russa was at Square Books signing his book, One Last Strike.
Attendees were required to have a ticket to be able to meet La Russa.  The tickets came with the purchase of the book.  Fans where only allowed three books to be signed per person.
La Russa’s book details his last successful run at a World Series Championship after being down ten and a half games with a month left to play.  His St. Louis Cardinals posted one of the most remarkable comebacks in baseball history — a 4-3 series win over the Texas Rangers.
