With Win In Season Opener Against MVSU, Rebels Face Coastal Carolina Tuesday Night

The Ole Miss Rebels face Coastal Carolina onTuesday night in the second of six straight home games to open the regular season.
Ole Miss (1-0) is coming off a 93-57 season opener win over Mississippi Valley State. Junior Marshall Henderson hit five-three pointers and scored 22 points, while senior Murphy Holloway added 11 rebounds that has tied him with Coolidge Ball for eighth in the Ole Miss record book with 754 boards against the Delta Devils.
Winning at home has been a very big part of the Rebels trademark under Kennedy, ever since he took over in 2006-2007 season. Under Coach Andy Kennedy, the Rebels have racked up a 31-6 record for games played in November. Ole Miss is 85-18 in games played at home.
The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (1-0) come into Oxford after a 74-70 win in overtime against Akron at home. Senior Anthony Raffa scored 27 points while Kierre Greenwood added 19 to the tally. Last year, the Chanticleers had a record of 19-12 on the year and 12-6 in Big South play.
